What Defines a Minivan Body Style
A MiniVan (MPV — Multi-Purpose Vehicle) is a family car with a raised roof, flat floor and a flexible seating arrangement, with seats that can often be folded, removed or moved. Models are divided into compact versions (5–7 seats) and full-size versions (7+ seats). Most MiniVan vehicles are based on van or estate-car platforms, but optimized for passenger comfort. The main advantages are a high seating position, good visibility, a spacious trunk and easier entry and exit for older people and children.
