The driving season is long, and newer models with diesel heating make comfortable year-round use possible, even in winter.

Also check the heating, fridge, boiler, shower and toilet. The service history of the chassis and engine is just as important as it is for any other vehicle. Vehicles with a total mass up to 3.5 tonnes can be driven with a B licence; heavier vehicles require C1.
