Current VW Models

Golf 8 (from 2019) brought a modernized interior with a digital cockpit, MIB3 infotainment and mild-hybrid eTSI engines. Passat B8 facelift (until 2023) and the new B9 generation (from 2024) dominate the sedan segment, although the Passat is increasingly focused on the Variant estate version. Tiguan AD1 facelift and the new generation offer modern SUV choices, while the Touareg CR remains the peak of the VW lineup. The ID. family represents fully electric models.

Current Engine Options

TDI evo engines (EA288 evo, from 2020) have been significantly improved — lower consumption, reduced NOx emissions and a more reliable DPF/SCR system. eTSI mild-hybrid engines (1.0 and 1.5) use a 48V system and 7-speed DSG, delivering smoother operation and lower fuel consumption. eHybrid plug-in versions (Golf, Passat, Tiguan) offer 60–100 km of electric range. The ID. range on the MEB platform offers 350–600 km of range depending on the battery.

Warranty and Purchase in Montenegro

The standard VW factory warranty lasts 2 years, while the batteries in ID. electric models are covered for 8 years or 160,000 km. In Montenegro, the authorized VW service network is present in Podgorica and Bar, and many independent VAG workshops are equipped for newer generations. Charging stations for ID. models are available in all major cities and along the main highways.
