Prices for used 2020 cars in Montenegro usually range from around 12,000 EUR for basic hatchbacks to over 40,000 EUR for premium SUV models. Even though these are newer cars, service history is still crucial — check whether scheduled maintenance was carried out at an authorized service center, especially if the vehicle still has factory warranty remaining. For models with small turbo petrol engines (1.0 and 1.5 TSI/PureTech), check for any oil consumption and the history of engine software updates. For plug-in hybrids, always request a battery condition report and confirm that the charger is included with the vehicle.
Most manufacturers offer a factory warranty of 3 to 5 years, so for vehicles from 2020 the remaining warranty period depends on the date of first registration. For extended warranties (e.g. Hyundai 5 years, Kia 7 years), check whether it is tied to the owner or the vehicle.
