What 2018 and newer cars offer
Since 2018, WLTP standards have replaced the NEDC cycle, delivering more realistic fuel consumption and CO2 emissions data. This period brought new generations of popular models to market — VW Touareg III, BMW X5 G05, Mercedes G-Class W463A, Volvo XC40, Škoda Kodiaq and Karoq. Advanced Level 2 assistance is becoming standard (adaptive cruise control with lane keeping), full LED matrix lights, digital instrument clusters and smartphone connectivity via CarPlay/Android Auto.
