The most common generations are the B7 (2004–2008), B8 (2008–2015) and B9 (2015–present). The older B6 is available at more affordable prices, while the B9 facelift is the most modern choice. Avant versions are popular for their practicality, and the Allroad variant offers raised suspension and quattro drive, which is especially useful on Montenegrin roads.
Check the service history, especially for engines known for oil consumption (CAGA, CDNB). For TDI engines, inspect the DPF, EGR, AdBlue system (B9), and the timing chain. For S tronic (DSG) gearboxes, regular servicing is essential. Quattro drive requires checking the Haldex coupling or Torsen differential. Ask for a VIN check and maintenance records.
Prices for a used Audi A4 range from around 4,000 EUR for older B7 models to over 35,000 EUR for recent B9 cars with S line equipment.
