In Bar, the most commonly offered models are the 3 Series and 5 Series as proven sporty business choices, while the X3 and X5 dominate among SUV buyers. The 1 Series and 2 Series are popular with younger drivers looking for a compact premium car. 4 Series Cabriolet variants are seasonally in demand because of the Mediterranean climate.
Bar is a port city with higher humidity and sea salt in the air, so when buying a used BMW, carefully check the bodywork, undercarriage, and suspension. Pay attention to the service history, the timing chain condition on N47 engines, and the proper operation of the xDrive system. Ask for original documentation and a complete service booklet.
Bar is a port and administrative centre of the coast with a steady inflow of imported vehicles via the ferry line to Bari. That means a diverse selection of BMW models, including rarer versions and equipment packages. The network of independent BMW specialists covers both Bar and nearby coastal towns, and original parts can be ordered from Podgorica in a short time.
The most sought after are the 3 Series, 5 Series and the X3 and X5 SUV models. In the coastal setting, the 4 Series Cabriolet is also popular because of the Mediterranean climate.
Vehicles imported through the port of Bar can be a good choice, but it is important to check the vehicle history by VIN through CARFAX or AutoDNA. Always ask for all customs clearance documents and records of previous repairs.
Higher humidity and salt in the air can accelerate corrosion if the vehicle is not properly protected. For used BMW cars from the coast, a thorough inspection of the suspension, undercarriage and sills is recommended before purchase.
