The most common models are A4, A6, Q5 and Q7. The Q5 with quattro drive is a popular choice for Herceg Novi’s steep streets. The A4 and A6 are traditionally in demand as versatile sedans for everyday and seasonal use. The Q3 and A3 are popular with buyers looking for a more compact option.
When buying a used Audi, check the service history, the condition of the DSG/S tronic gearbox and the timing chains on TFSI engines. The quattro system requires periodic differential checks. Inspect the underbody for signs of salt and moisture exposure. Ask for proof of origin, as many vehicles arrive via Croatia or Italy.
Audi has a smaller but stable presence in Herceg Novi. Independent VAG service shops are available in the town and nearby area, while warranty and complex repairs usually require a trip to Podgorica. Electric e-tron and Q4 e-tron models are gradually appearing, especially as part of rent-a-car fleets during the season.
The Q5 quattro is an excellent choice for the city’s steep streets and trips into the hinterland. For mostly urban driving, the A3 or A4 offer comfort with lower fuel consumption.
Local independent workshops work on Audi vehicles and share platforms with VW and Škoda. For complex repairs, people most often go to Podgorica.
